When Anxiety Preceeds New Beginnings!

OK!
So,Costa Rica is happening.
I will be going there for an internship with this organisation called"Centro Cultural Costarricense Norteamericano" (dont google!even the webiste is in Spanish) teaching English to Coporate Employees.
But all that doesnt even matter right now.Its not what causing the anxiety,just Costa Rica is.Actually more than that the longish stay of a year there is.
Too late to run back if you dont like it.
You just have to take it all in.Whetther you like it or not.
A 180 degree turn from the Culture im living in.
Although Collective,but a lot more open.
Not the Europe Open (which comes in small doses and lets you sink it in),but its the kind of open thats sounds like it will be thrust upon!
I wont be forced to accept,but it will be too much of a change for sure.
And Im scared of the change,how i will take it blabber blabber.
Its makin me think if I made the right decision.Is it too far a place?too different a culture....to be commited to for a year?One Whole year.
Thats Longer than most things last ;P, if allowed to take their course.
Its Scary,when how long things will last is pre-decided!

Maybe you'd want to end them soon enough or maybe enough is not enough as you decide to play along!There has to be space for improvisations.
Its Scary to contain so much Change within!

I guess,I will play along for now!

This incident just tempted me to sign into this blog and write.
So here i am.

A conversation between me and the sister (over 2 days) :

Sister: Im going to shop for clothes today evening.You will come?
Me: I dont mind.

(At shop 1,after change 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,.......)
Me:So what exactly do you want to buy?
Sister(Shuffling through evening dresses and pointing) :These.
Me:Hmm.What for?
Sister:Tomorrow.The College "days" (rose,chocolate etc) are starting.
Me:ok,cool.

(At shop 2)
Sister(after change 1,2,3,4,5,......):Im buying this skirt.
(Short brown,btw)

(On the "DAY")
(Note: the sister is timorous.Slap is used just to show the " intensity of the feeling")
Sister:Today is the worst day.Friend x is teasing me like crazy .She wished me best of luck for red roses.I will slap her.
Me:Why is it the worst?You are not getting roses?
Sister:I will slap anyone who gives me roses.
Me:You buy a new dress for the rose day and then you say you will slap anyone who gives you roses.Wah.
Sister:Useless.i bought it for chocolate day.Someones spreading rumors that its the rose day.
Me:Its THE same thing rooooo.Instead of giving roses to say "I like you",they give chocolates to say "i like you".
Sister:No they have to give perk to say "i like you".No one will dare give it to me.
Me:Wow!So you actually bought a short skirt so that no one gives you a Perk!
Sister:(does not reply to SMS)....
The devil me me went *muhahahhahaha* ;P

Classic example of being passively aggressive =).

I'll Be Right Back...

I'll be right back
I'll come back home
If not now then after 15 years
maybe 20.
And then I'll need to feel secure here
In my mothers arms
I'll hold her tight and not let go,till the feeling creeps in
.....that feeling of security.
I might then feel refreshed and ready
And I might want to go away again to seek new things.
But i'll come back again.
